San Jacinto College
San Jacinto College expanded both its north and south campuses with new administrative and student testing buildings. Each building is 32,600 sq. ft. The buildings stand out, as they sit right at the main entry of each campus, and their unique designs are much different from the existing architecture.
Pieper was in charge of the electrical for both projects, and Pieper Project Manager Travis Brown said the high vaulted, sloped ceilings of the buildings presented an interesting challenge with the light layouts and with determining the best way to connect the electrical systems. In addition, the team had to work around students, faculty and staff, as school is still in session.
