Klein High School

Teaming up with Klein Independent School District and Tellepsen Builders, Pieper is in the second phase of a 3-year, 3-phase project. Klein High School in Klein, Texas, presents a unique challenge for everyone involved. Not only is the new high school being built on the existing campus, but the school will remain fully operational throughout construction. Pieper has also taken special care to coordinate with the general contractor and other subcontractors to keep the project within budget and on schedule.

The campus consists of three multiple-story buildings, totaling approximately 780,000 sq .ft. The space includes classrooms, science and computer labs, administrative offices, kitchen and dining areas, an auditorium, a natatorium, competition gyms and shop areas.

During phase one, Pieper installed the underground conduits for the (3) 4000 amp, services and distribution to each building. Our responsibilities include lighting, power and systems for fire alarms, local sound, data and school communications. We expect the new and improved Klein High School to be completed by September 2014.
